Two Police Officers were shot amid protest on Police Brutality in LA
Two Police Officers in Los Angeles were shot while sitting in a patrol vehicle parked outside suburban metro station. A lone gunman walked along the passenger side of the car, made left turn and shot several rounds inside police vehicle. The gunman ran away after the incident.
Two Los Angeles police officers are recovering in hospital. The suspect remain at large. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department has announced a $100,000 (£78,000) reward for any information leading to the gunman's arrest.
The officers involved in the shooting have not been named but were described as a 31-year-old woman and a 24-year-old man. Both victims, who suffered multiple gunshot wounds, were rookie officers. They graduated from the police academy only 14 months ago.
